We offer a range of services to suit the small business. Some of our most common solutions are listed to the right in the form of Ready-to-Go packages. These can be tailored of course to your specific needs. An initial meeting (for businesses) free of charge is always provided so we can ascertain if we can offer you what you require. If we can then we are glad of your custom, if we cant then you have wasted nothing and perhaps we can help you in the future.

- IT Support
If you need someone to turn to for general desktop IT support then look no further, we can provide on site support to fix your software or hardware needs for our standard time related rate at the base of this page. This rate is applied to many of our other time related services.

- Online Remote Backup
Backing up important data is an often overlooked practice yet is vitally important. Sonets Solutions offers an online backup solution that will securely backup your selected files to online secure storage automatically. Predetermined scheduled backups ensure you data gets backed up without needing your intervention. You will get an alert if your data has not been saved over a predetermined time as will Sonets Solutions so we can actively look into any issues and make sure your data is being backed up often.

This service costs for desktop computers just £4.95 per license per month + 75 pence per Gigabyte for as much space as you need. If you required 4GB of online storage this would amount to £6.95 per month (billed qtrly).

For Server operating systems (Windows Server, Windows Small Business Server) the license is £6.95 per month + £1.75 per Gigabyte for as much space as you need. The server license has extra features to aid in the protection of your server data.

- Internet Connection Sharing
Want to share that single Internet connection with the rest of the PC's in your business, we can make it happen with a network (see below) and some configuration. If a network already exists a standard time related charge (see base of page) will apply.

- Networking
Tired of printing documents for the person you sit next to or giving them a flash drive with your docs on every time you need to pass information rather than sharing a common documents location, or running disks to someone in the next room to print on their snazzy colour printer, a reliable network will solve your issues speeding up productivity and enhancing working practices. You could even adopt a server based network topology that will introduce collaborative tools such as calendar and contact sharing real time, as well as centralised user management and backups plus many other benefits!

Typical cost of networking 6 PC's in a Peer-to-Peer network (no server) £299. Includes fast ethernet switch and cables (loose patch fly lead type - not trunked or wall boxed, this can be provided at greater costs). Engineer time configuring and testing your PC's for the new network operations is also included in this price. If you have more equipment to network or even just 2 PC's then more accurate costs can be given with a simple free survey!

- Wireless Networking
If being tethered to a wall socket for network access bothers you or you just want to surf from anywhere you choose within your organisation or home then wireless networking is the answer (and potentially a laptop of course). If an existing network exists then cost will be approximately £159 for configuration (with security) including necessary equipment of one access point and PC card. If you have all the equipment and only need it configuring then our time related charge fee is all you need (see base of page).

- Hardware upgrades and recommendations
PC or Server slow? Not sure why? Want a new PC perhaps and not sure what type you need to purchase without wasting your money on unnecessary gimmicks? Let us advise on a course of action. We can even provide a full range of hardware options from well known manufactures if applicable.

- Domain name registration & associated email configuration!
If you have dreamed of getting your email address saying something different than yourcompany@some-internet-providers-name.co.uk and would like to have you@yourcompany.co.uk then let us help. You will have a professional looking email that you can be proud of for a simple all in one fee. Typical costs listed to the right in Package 1!

- Web sites and E-commerce
Need a web site to get you on the Internet map? We can provide a simple 3 or 4 page web site advertising what you do, and how to contact you for sales. For larger scale projects a full e-commerce site can be provided. We can either maintain these sites for you as a service or train you in how to do it yourself if your keen (some extra software may be needed on your own computer). 

- Telecommunications
We can offer advice for many communications related solutions. From a basic broadband connection to information on a new phone system to suit your business, we may be able to help. With experience in dealing direct with BT we can advise what solutions are available that work for you. Simple time related charge (plus BT charges for equipment and installations should a purchase be made).

- System Health Checks
Not sure if you have a virus, want to make sure you have a functioning firewall? Want to improve you network performance? All things and others we can provide with a time related health check.

- Our Time Related Rates
Our business rates are £32.50 per hour for stated time related work (special rates for home users). Minimum 1 hour and then to the nearest half hour there after. If we are doing a lot of work for you we may be able to negotiate a lower rate.
